Yo! So, this is a first in an ongoing series we’ll be doing in which we have a free form discussion, covering a whole range of topics. This will definitely give you some motivation and hopefully some nuggets of wisdom…or maybe it will just entertain you!

We really like sharing these convos with you because we get to open up and just kick it. They are also the types of convos that lead us to make the show in the first place!

On this first Jam Session, we may get too personal…but…oh well!

Enjoy!

Wanna skip around?…

9:50, should The Word x The World Podcast have women on?
10:45, is Jasen secretly misogynistic?
24:19, does Marcus need to get his mind out the gutter?
30:10, we find out what a shot party is…wait, what podcast is this???

Please remember to rate, review, and subscribe!

I enjoyed this listen. Very relatable when you spoke on switching our desires and desiring Christ instead. You were absolutely right when you said it takes the work of Christ to make it happen and we can’t do it in our own strength.

I think at the end of the day as believers it starts with obedience.
We often think that our warfare is things like sex, alcohol and other fleshy desires, but it’s really disobedience. Because the devil is not affraid of our preaching and worshiping, but he is affraid of a believer who submits themselves to God and comes under total obedience to the Father. Because when we really want a revival then it’s death time for ourselves and we have to give up the Ghost just as Christ did. Giving up and putting things for the sake of the gospel.

    Good stuff guys!!!
