Our wives join us again for this second episode in the Couple Up series! We open up about sexual temptation.

Sexual temptation is an often avoided subject among married couples. Many people will speak to their friends about having sexual attraction to other people besides their spouse, but the topic is rarely breached in a healthy way within marriages. There are many possible reasons for this, being that sexual temptation can be seen as something that should be forbidden in marriage. A spouse may feel shame, guilt, anger, insecurity, embarrassment and other uncomfortable feelings due to their sexual temptation, and may not want to open that can of worms with their wife or husband. Most importantly, we may fear that having these types of conversations can damage our marriages because a distrust may be established.

With all that said, we feel that it is quite necessary for couples to free themselves of all the bondage of sin that Christ died for, and sexual temptation is not exempt from that list. Take a listen as we have a chat about this often uncomfortable truth.
